Quality, experience, creativity, service and price all play a critical part in building your new home. Morse Homes Inc. knows how important it is that we provide these things, and we have been doing so for the past 34 years. As an on-site builder, we attribute our successful years in the building business to long hours, attention to detail, and a sincere commitment of personal service to our clients.
Dedicated to excellence, we continue to educate ourselves in the latest design, architectural, and building trends. We have experience with various framing techniques from insulated concrete forms and standard wood framing to metal studs and concrete blocks.
Scott Morse was born in 1977 and raised in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. He went to school from primary through high school in Belle Chasse, graduating from high school in 1995 and attended 2 years of college at Holy Cross from 1996-1997. In 1998, his father, Frank Morse, approached Scott about needing someone to take over his business as he aged and asked if he wanted to be a part of it. In 1999, he took the job. From day one, his father started grooming Scott to be able to manage the business as Frank had always done.
Scott got a real good start on knowing the ins-and-outs of the business because in his summer years of grade school, he would clean up the job sites and work odd jobs to make extra money. This actually familiarized him with many of the job materials. Many changes have had to happen in the way he does and views business over the years. He has learned how to get the best from people regardless of what their motivation may be.
Scott Morse has been an active member of the Home Builders Association for a little over 5 years. His second year in, he was voted to be secretary and has steadily climbed the ladder to his current status with them as the President of the HBA of Greater New Orleans. His background knowledge of construction takes him from dog houses to strip malls. He has managed many different business models and is extremely comfortable in construction.
Born in Raceland, Louisiana, Frank Morse has been a New Orleans resident for 50 years. He graduated from Martin Behrman in New Orleans, and attended two years of college at LSUNO.
After years of working in construction, working his way up from sales to supervising, Morse started Morse Homes, Inc. in Belle Chasse, Louisiana in 1975. Specializing in upscale custom homes, Morse Homes, Inc. has completed many projects throughout the metropolitan New Orleans area, including single and multi-family residences and light commercial construction.
Frank Morse is a licensed residential building contractor and a licensed commercial building contractor with the state of Louisiana.
A New Orleans native at heart, Morse is known locally as a highly respected building professional. He is a current member of the Home Builder’s Association and has served on their Board of Directors.
-“Their meticulous attention to detail and expansive knowledge of the construction process made the building of our home a smooth and enjoyable experience. Among our friends, those who have also used the services of Morse Homes Inc. are equally pleased with their home”
Dr. Arthur and Mrs. Peggy Chang
“The experience was, overall a PLEASURE, which is in total contrast to the horror stories I have heard from friends who had built houses. Frank’s work speaks for itself, but perhaps the best demonstration of customer satisfaction is that he maintains friendly relationships with his former clients.”
Joseph and Kathy Guilbeau
“After building two homes with Frank, we wouldn’t use anyone else. Frank stood behind his product and we could not be more satisfied. The workmanship of his subcontractors was of the highest standards.”
Dr. and Mrs. C.J. Landry
“When our friends and family discovered we were building our first custom home, the universal response was that we would regret the decision to do so. On the contrary, it became one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives. Our many thanks are extended to Frank Morse and Morse Homes for guiding us through the house-building process in such a methodical manner. Everyone who has visited our home has complimented the attention to detail and quality of workmanship. Frank helped us convert our ideas from paper to a three-dimensional dream, and the final product is exactly what we envisioned. We maintain a friendship with Frank and have no hesitation to recommend him to others.”
